Research in the Stanford Leinweber Institute for Theoretical Physics spans a wide range of topics from understanding the fundamental nature of forces, particles and space-time geometry, to condensed matter physics and quantum information. There is considerable cross-fertilization in some of these endeavors with faculty in the SLAC Theory Group and the Kavli Institute for Particle Astrophysics and Cosmology
