Rahul Mahajan Nandkishore
Visiting Associate Professor, Physics
Department: Physics

I received my PhD from MIT in 2012 and spent three years as a postdoctoral fellow at the Princeton Center for Theoretical Science, before joining the faculty at the University of Colorado Boulder in 2015, where I have been ever since. I am currently on sabbatical, and am spending the first half of 2022 at Stanford as a Visiting Associate Professor of Physics.
I am a theoretical physicist specializing in condensed matter physics. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to: quantum dynamics, new phenomena from disorder and interactions in topological semimetals, and fracton phases of quantum matter. I have broad interests and am always on the lookout for interesting new problems. I am sitting in McCullough 315 and am always happy to chat, so please, stop by!
