Maria Dainotti awarded Italian Order of Merit

Maria Giovanna Dainotti, a visiting post-doctoral researcher with Vahe Petrosian's group, has been awarded an Order of Merit of the Italian Republic in an International Women's Day ceremony (YouTube video and news story in Italian).  The award cites her work on gamma rays to investigate the origins of the universe.
