Symposium on the 50th Anniversary of the November Revolution (Jpsi50)
This one-day symposium celebrates the discovery of the J/psi resonance, which launched the modern era of particle physics.
The symposium will review the lead-up to the discovery, the observations from BNL, SLAC, and Frascati, and the continuing influence of this discovery, with reminiscences from many of the participants.
Speakers will include: Michael Riordan, Thomas Appelquist, Robert Hollebeek, Sau Lan Wu, Martin Breidenbach, Marcello Piccolo, Charles Morehouse, Gary Feldman, JoAnne Hewett, Fred Gilman
