Professor Seiberg earned his PhD at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel. He has held faculty positions at the Weizmann Institute and Rutgers University. His research falls under high energy theory, including quantum field theory, supersymmetry, and string theory. Professor Seiberg was an inaugural awardee of the Fundamental Physics Prize in 2012.
