Stanford University's Astronomy Program is proud to announce the 30th Annual Bunyan Lecture on Wednesday, 5/15/13 @ 7:30pm in Mudd Chemistry Braun Lecture Hall (333 Campus Drive).  Our speaker will be Professor Steven Chu, Nobel Laureate and Former Secretary of Energy.  His public lecture is entitled, "Dr. Chu goes to Washington."  He will tell us about why he went to DC as well as giving us a historical perspective of how science and technology transformed the world in the past, and how it must change our present course for the future. Free and Open to the General Public(Video on YouTube, 1:46:29)
