The 32nd Annual Bill Fairbank Memorial Run/Walk/Bike

Please join the Stanford Physics Department in honoring former Professor of Physics William Fairbank at the 32nd Annual Fairbank Memorial Bike/Walk/Run!

This event will be held on Saturday, March 9th at 12pm. Sign-in begins at 11:45am.  Register at this link to confirm your participation. ALL ARE WELCOME! Please bring family, friends, pets, and neighbors. Maps for the bike and run/walk route are attached and will be available at the event as well. 

The winner of this year's event will receive a prize as well as have their name displayed on the plaque in the Varian lobby.

Bill Fairbank was a Stanford Professor of Physics from 1959 until his death in 1989. He was an avid runner and inspiring presence. In his honor, Stanford's Physics Department holds this event every year and opens it up to the general public.
